A proud milestone for ICARBON 🚀
We are delighted to announce that our project submitted under the TÜBİTAK 1707 GCIP Collaborative Order-Based R&D Call has been approved for full funding support. Being among the first projects accepted under this special call is not only a significant achievement, but also a strong validation of ICARBON’s business model and technology vision.
Everything began in 2023 when ICARBON was selected for the TÜBİTAK Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP) Türkiye. This opportunity became a turning point in our journey, providing valuable guidance and inspiration on how our Green Chemistry-focused Advanced Recycling technologies could contribute to the sustainable transformation of the chemical industry.
The program included an intensive training process, invaluable mentorship from Dr. Ayşe Kuyrukcu, and continuous support from GCIP program managers Cansu Durukan, PhD and Tuğba Erbektaş. I would like to sincerely thank them for their dedication and encouragement throughout this journey 🤗
📍The foundation of our project and its core technological process was actually established during K Fair in Germany 😉 For now, I will simply say one word: “Lignin.”
The feedstock, technological process, and application areas behind this project are full of exciting possibilities. More details may be revealed in the coming months ⏳️
This project represents another important step toward developing innovative climate technologies, circular economy solutions, advanced recycling systems, and sustainable raw material alternatives for the future of the chemical and textile industries.
I would especially like to thank Mr. Tamer Tamtürk for believing in ICARBON and supporting the project from the very beginning.
