At the 18th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Rubber Association, held on June 26 at the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, Mr. Ö. Doğu Kaya was re-elected as President.
In addition, the seminar held prior to the general assembly, titled “The Future of Rubber: Smart Manufacturing Under the Influence of Artificial Intelligence and the Search for a New Balance in Light of Global Developments,” was extremely valuable in providing our industry with new perspectives.
Mr. Serkan Arıkuşu shared valuable insights on how #ArtificialIntelligence and #DigitalTransformation can impact the #Rubber industry and create competitive advantages.
Dr. Mevlüt Çetinkaya and Mr. Ali Agaoglu evaluated the reflections of global developments on the #Petrochemical industry.
Meeting once again with Mr. Mevlüt Çetinkaya, one of the leading experts of the petrochemical sector, was a great source of motivation for me. In particular, he elaborated on how #ChemicalRecycling has become increasingly important in the petrochemical industry and explained the transformation of the sector from past to present.
Mr. Ali Agaoglu summarized the effects of international conflicts and Asian economies on the global economic outlook. Most importantly, I was very pleased to have the opportunity to hear his perspective on how efficiently utilizing our country’s resources could lead to significant economic growth.
I wish the outcomes of the Ordinary General Assembly to be beneficial for our industry and extend my best wishes for a successful term to all newly elected Board Members.
